Our magnesium aluminate spinel is available in two standard models: S68 and S78.,Magnesium aluminum Spinel is made of high-purity materials prepared and melted, with high bulk density, lowwater absorption, high temperature resistance, small thermal expansion coefficient, good thermal stability, good appear-ance color, excellent spalling resistance, corrosion resistance and other characteristics. It is widely used in refractory.steelmaking, cement rotary kins and glass industry kins. It is an ideal raw material for the production of refractories such as high-performance castables, sliding nozzles, ladle-lined bricks, and investment castings.

Applications
Magnesium aluminate spinel boasts excellent high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, and hardly cracks or peels off under alternating hot and cold environments. It is primarily applied to produce protective refractory linings for all kinds of high-temperature equipment.
In the steel industry, it is processed into refractory bricks and repair compounds for steelmaking furnaces and ladle interiors to withstand scouring and corrosion from high-temperature molten steel. For cement plants, it is made into lining bricks for cement rotary kilns to mitigate damage on the kiln’s high-temperature zones. Non-ferrous metal smelters adopt it as furnace lining to resist corrosion induced by molten metals and alkaline materials.
Besides, it can be blended with other refractory raw materials to make castable and smearable repair materials. It is also used for inner protective layers of high-temperature heat storage equipment for glass manufacturing, high-temperature ceramic firing kilns and chemical high-temperature cracking furnaces.
